Editorial and review responsibilities
Management and leadership expirence
Build up and headed a department with overall responsibility for the work of about 100 FTEs in research projects in Germany and the USA. Responsibility for a function with a budget of 26 Mio € and 110 FTEs. Chaired a project on translational medicine, initiated and headed a project for globalisation, established and headed a multi-national management team. Developed a concept for merging two departments (inflammation and immunology research) and started to implement. Member of several international management boards. Initiation and supervision of several clinical, preclinical and translational studies.
